Amarone Classico Lena has a deep ruby red color with garnet notes. The nose is intense with hints of cherries in alcohol, plums, licorice, leather, tobacco, cocoa and spices such as black pepper. Pleasant notes of coffee emerge over the years while, on the palate, it is dry, enveloping, full-bodied, intense and persistent. This version is the youngest of our amarones. At a first taste it may appear fresh and needs time in the bottle to reach optimal harmony, however at the table it is already capable of giving excellent drinkability and pleasantness.
