Beautiful full-bodied red, ruby red color with bright violet tones, intense aroma with notes of cocoa and green spices, cloves and cinnamon, and again wild berries and plum jam in the finish; the taste is harmonious, with thick, soft and ripe tannins and has balanced acidity, with a persistent and moderately austere aftertaste.
Montefalco Rosso is a soft and easy to drink wine, thanks to the varieties that contribute to the blend and has the recognition of a separate DOC. On the label a view of the Montefalco cellar and in the foreground the falcon, symbol of the area. Here, in fact, falcon hunting was traditional, a great passion of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia.
